A big fraud has come to light in a company manufacturing and supplying boxes of sweets in Zirakpur, Panchkula. The company’s sales manager Navdeep has lodged a complaint with the police that the company’s driver Sukhbir Singh and gateman Manpinder Singh together

The crime was committed while collecting payment from the states. According to the complaint, Ludhiana-based K.B. Navdeep, sales manager of Print Pack B Company, had gone to collect payment for the supply of boxes from various cities of Haryana—Jind, Rohtak, Rewari, Gurgaon, Karnal etc. Driver Sukhbir Singh was with him. According to Navdeep, when he was collecting money, Sukhbir and Manpinder absconded with an amount of Rs 16.5 lakh as part of a conspiracy.

Abuse and confession on asking for money After informing the company owner, Navdeep tried to contact both the accused. On this, Sukhbir and Manpinder not only abused on the phone, but also confessed to embezzling lakhs of rupees through voice messages.

Police registered the case Zirakpur police station in-charge Jaskanwal Singh Sekhon said that on the complaint of sales manager Navdeep, a case has been registered against the accused Sukhbir Singh (resident of district Barnala) and Manpinder Singh (resident of district Sirsa). Both currently live in Ludhiana. Police have started searching for the accused.

Identification of the accused Both Sukhbir Singh and Manpinder Singh were working in the company for a long time. Police believe that the incident was carried out as per a pre-planned plan. The police team is busy ascertaining the activities and locations of the accused.
