After the call of Punjab Bandh by the Farmer Union, while the farmers stood firm in the front, people supporting the farmers also joined them. Members of Bharatiya Kisan Union staged a protest on all roads in Patiala district. On the other hand, farmers formed different groups and kept roaming in the area. During this period, the members of the Kisan Union got the open banks closed and also got the petrol pumps closed.
Bike riders returned after blocking the road
Farmers were sitting in protest on the road of Bakshiwala village. When people riding bikes started passing through this area, the farmers sent them back.
