That embarrassment inspired him to become a writer and he decided that next time he would only tell himself written on the stage.
Travel to Mumbai: Battle of struggle and expectations
Kasim, who reached Mumbai from Najibabad, had a dream to become a writer and actor. But it was not easy to identify in Mayanagari. Whenever you go to audition, people either ask for money or comment on their personality. Gradually, he stopped auditioning and focused on writing. He said, ‘Rejection made me strong! I started ghost writing and wrote many songs which were released in the name of others. Then I myself decided to produce my written songs and act in them.
The beginning and identity of acting
Qasim started his acting with Sikander Mirza’s TV show ‘Hum Hai Sikander’. After this, he played a small but important role in the film ‘Pledge to Protect’. The film is being shown in Film Festival and will be released soon. This was followed by films like Dream City Mumbai and where is Najeeb. In Ha, he shot Hamid Ali’s film ‘Hum Hai King’ and is now working on ‘The Third Hacker’.
