Filmmaker Vipul Shah believes that Akshay Kumar is a great actor, but the critics never understood. Even people did not take the actor seriously.

Recently, producer-director Vipul Shah said that Akshay Kumar did not get the credit that he should get. He talked about the experience of working with Akshay and said that the critics never considered a great actor.
In an interview to Gallata Plus, Vipul Shah said, ‘When I was working with Akshay Kumar in my first two films, I realized that he is an actor who himself does not know what he can do. He was given only an action hero tag and at that time he was changing his image through comedy films, but people were not taking him seriously. Perhaps, he never considered him a great actor or a good actor, so he never cared. But, I felt that they had a lot to give.
Akshay Kumar did not get credit
Vipul Shah, ‘I was watching both of them, in which I worked with him, two completely different characters and he was doing a lot of things so comfortably, which he never got credit as an actor. Then I realized that in his entire career, no one has ever made him a Punjabi shaved.
Akshay Kumar maintains himself
Poduser said, ‘He is completely Punjabi with heart and soul, but no one has introduced them like this.
