Honda Cars India is preparing to launch the third generation model of the popular sedan Amaze. Earlier, 2024 Honda Amaze was seen without cover during testing. A glimpse of the exterior and interior design of the new generation Honda Amaze has been seen in the photos and videos shared on Media
Earlier the company had released the design sketch. The car will come with a new front look and advanced safety features. The new generation Honda Amaze will be launched in India on December 4. Its price can start from Rs 7.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the new generation Maruti Dezire, Tata Tigor and Hyundai Aura.
Sleek LED headlight will be available like Elevate
According to the sketch released by Honda, the look of the upcoming Honda Amaze is inspired by the new Honda City and the international model Honda Accord. The front of Amaze has sharp styling lines and hexagonal grill. There are sleek LED headlights with LED DRL on both sides, which look like the Honda Elevate SUV. At the same time, the fog lamps are at their place. It can be given multi-spoke alloy wheels, sleek LED taillight and high bumper like Honda City.
Can get 6 airbags standard and ADAS
Honda has also released the sketch of the cabin of the new generation Amaze. It has a new dashboard layout and a new cabin theme, which is inspired by the city sedan and Elevate SUV.
Inside the cabin, it has a 3-spoke steering wheel with black and beige color theme. On the dashboard, it has a free-standing touchscreen with pattern trim inserts.
New features like wireless phone charger and single-pane sunroof can be found in Amaze. For safety, 6 airbags as standard, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Advanced Driving Assist System (ADAS) with a rear view camera can also be provided.
Performance: Amaze gives mileage of 18.6 kmpl
Mechanical changes are hardly visible in Honda Amaze. The car currently comes with a 1.2 liter i-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates 87.7hp power and 110Nm torque.
For transmission, this engine has the option of 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox. Amaze will come only with petrol engine, because the company has stopped making diesel engines. The company claims that the car gives a mileage of 18.6 kmpl.
