Played ‘Chandni Chowk to Sirhind’

Here at Gursharan Kala Bhavan, on the occasion of a function dedicated to playwright Gursharan Singh by Lok Kala Manch Mandi Mullanpur, the team of ‘Aks Rangmanch’ Samrala performed his play ‘Chandni Chowk to Sirhind Tak’ under the direction of Rajwinder Singh Samrala. The event was formally inaugurated by Pulse Manch President Amolak Singh, Kasturi Lal, Joginder Azad, Master Bhajan Singh, Lakhinder Singh, Paramjit Pammi, Randhir Singh Sekhon, Harkesh Chaudhary and Deepak Roy.

Paying homage to Bhaji Gursharan Singh and remembering Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Amolak Singh gave a message to spread the light of consciousness while stressing on the harmony of theater and people’s war. He said that the team of Aks Rangmanch was completely successful in raising the question of the cost of spending the day by keeping silence by the people during the oppression by the rulers. Apart from the theater artists, many important personalities involved in the event were also honored by the organizers. On this occasion Dr. Amarpreet Singh Deol, Dr. Ruhi Deol, Principal Kishan Dutt, Principal Rajinder Singh and Advocate Sandeep Kaura were also present.
