Pollution also increased with the cold in Delhi

Pollution has once again increased in the capital Delhi and NCR. Due to the ever-increasing pollution here, people have started having trouble breathing. Along with this, people are facing problems like sore throat and burning eyes due to toxic air. Around 7 am on Friday morning, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi and NCR regions was recorded in the very severe category. According to the information received, AQI was recorded at 781 in Delhi’s Srinivaspuri on Friday morning, while AQI reached 997 in Noida Sector-125. Similarly, 458 in Delhi’s Mundaka, 422 in IIT Sharda, 395 in Punjabi Bagh, 377 in Rohini, 194 in Ghaziabad, 373 in Gurugram were recorded.

At the beginning of this month, there was some relief from pollution in the capital, but as the cold has increased, so has the pollution.

Due to this, the AQI in Delhi remained above 400 for the third consecutive day. Delhi’s AQI crossed 450 after a month on Thursday due to morning fog. Air quality remained in hazardous category in many areas today. Due to this, for the third time in the season, the air quality in the whole of Delhi remained in the hazardous category. The pollution was heavy in the morning but there was some relief in the afternoon after the fog cleared and the smoke subsided. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, there is no possibility of getting much relief from pollution for a few days. Air quality remained in the severe category on Friday. Air quality is likely to remain in the very poor category for three days after this. Delhi’s average AQI on Thursday was 451, which is considered in the hazardous category. Earlier, Delhi’s AQI was 460 on November 19 and 494 on November 18. After this the number has now increased to more than 450.

The day temperature in the capital reached around 23 degrees

Delhi recorded a temperature of 17.93 degrees Celsius on the morning of December 20. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature was around 10 and maximum around 22.9 degrees Celsius. The wind speed was up to 37 km per hour and the humidity in the air was 37 percent. It was sunny here today. Despite this, the AQI reached around 500 in Delhi today. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature tomorrow is expected to be 14.62 degrees Celsius and maximum 22.7 degrees Celsius, while the humidity is likely to drop to 18 percent. Despite the air pollution, the sky may remain clear and the situation may improve somewhat. According to the Meteorological Department, different weather conditions are likely to prevail in Delhi in the next seven days. Due to this, there may be a change in temperature and there may also be cloudiness.

Advise to wear a mask while going out of the house

Health experts are encouraging people to go out of the house as little as possible and wear masks while going out to avoid the problem of pollution. Along with this, the use of air purifying devices has been asked. Children, the elderly and especially those suffering from respiratory diseases have been asked not to go out.
