There is recruitment for more than 400 posts in Prasar Bharati. Candidates have to send offline application form to Doordarshan Kendra for this recruitment. This post is not a regular post. Candidates will be given a maximum of 7 assignments in a month.
Educational Qualification:
News Reader:
- Degree from recognized university.
- Have good command over the relevant language.
- Have a camera friendly face and a good voice for broadcasting.
- Know the correct pronunciation.
- Be familiar with famous personalities of India and abroad.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have studied journalism or working in the same field.
Copy Editor:
- Graduation degree, degree/PG diploma in journalism or mass communication.
- 3 years experience in relevant field.
- Must have good knowledge of the language.
Age Limit :
- News Reader: 21 – 50 years
- Copy Editor: 21 – 50 years
Salary:
- News Reader: Rs 1650 per day
- Copy Editor: Rs 1500 per day/per shift.

- Fill all your information in it carefully. Paste the photo at the right place.
- Along with this, send copies of documents like professional certificate, educational certificate, residence certificate, experience certificate etc. by hand or speed post.
- The application form has to be sent in a closed envelope.
- “Application for the Post of Casual Assignment based post name………………………………” should be written above it.
