New Delhi: The country’s national broadcaster Prasar Bharti will telecast the upcoming Hockey India League (HIL) live after seven years. Prasar Bharti Deputy Director General (Sports) Abhishek Agarwal and Hockey India General Secretary Bhola Nath Singh signed the agreement in this regard during a function. Starting on December 28 in Rourkela, HIL will be telecast live in the country through Doordarshan and Prasar Bharti’s new OTT platform ‘Waves’. This tournament of the Hockey India League is also important because it will have the women’s league for the first time along with the men’s competition. -News-Patiala
