Prestigious Prime Minister Fellowship to Anchal Khanna

Miss Anchal Khanna of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guru Nanak Dev University has bagged the prestigious Prime Minister’s Fellowship for Doctoral Research for the 2024 session. The fellowship is a public-private partnership initiative jointly funded by the National Research Foundation, Government of India, New Delhi and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The objective of the scheme is to encourage young, talented, ambitious, and result-oriented scholars to undertake industry-relevant research. Appreciating this achievement of the student, Dean Academic Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh said that getting the Prime Minister’s Fellowship is one of the important achievements for a university student.

Miss Anchal has made the name of the university bright by winning the prestigious fellowship. The PMRF scheme awards meritorious fellowships to researchers who have produced the best results in doctoral research in India. Director Research Prof. ML Singh congratulated the research scholar and his supervisor for the PMRF award.
