On the call of the United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha to blow effigies of the central government, hundreds of different villages of Malwa region today staged anti-central government protest. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cremation was cremated on the Bathinda-Patiala main road in Bhainibagha village. The district president of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Ekta Sidhupur) Jagdev Singh Bhainibagha has been on hunger strike for the past several days due to the protest against the central government by the farmers. He said that protests against the central government by farmers’ organizations are continuing. He said that the organizations are protesting against the central government across Punjab today and tractor marches will be held by the farmers on January 26. At the same time, the earthies were burnt separately by the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Ekta Ugrahan). The district president of the organization, Ram Singh Bhainibagha, said that today in 54 villages of the district, they raised slogans against the central government by burning earths.

Effigies of the central government were blown up today by farmers’ organizations under the call of marches organized by the United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha at Shambhu and Khanuri borders. Bharati Kisan Union (Sidhupur) also held a similar demonstration here. In coordination with the call, the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Ugrahan) held demonstrations in 60 villages in Bathinda district. In 40 of these villages, the organizations involved in the United Kisan Morcha Bharat, the United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha jointly demonstrated.

Today, demonstrations against the central government were held in various villages of the district. On this occasion, the district president of Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta (Sidhupur) Pargat Singh Chakpathi and vice president Lakhwinder Singh district vice president said that the Modi government should implement the farmers’ demands agreed at the end of the Delhi March and continue on the border of Khanuri, Shambhu and Ratanpura. District president Shingara Singh Mann, Karnail Singh of Ugrahan and Sukhmandar Singh of Dakoda faction spoke here.

On the call of the United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political), farmers blew effigies of the central government in villages and cities. In Sirsa city, under the banner of Bharatiya Kisan Ekta (BKE), farmers blew the effigy under the chairmanship of Prakash Singh Mameran and Angrez Singh Kotli. Meanwhile, protesting farmers raised slogans against the central government.

Various farmers’ organizations jointly staged a protest in village Bhucho Khurd today with a strong demand for early fulfillment of farmers’ demands. Leaders of Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta (Ugrahan) Nachhatar Singh, Mandir Singh Nagra, Chand Singh of Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta (Dakonda), Jarnail Singh and Manjit Kaur and Paramjit Kaur of Kirti Kisan Union spoke on this occasion.
Ferozepur (Sanjeev Handa):
A group of farmers reached the Shambhu border today to join the farmers’ movement that has been going on at the Shambhu border for the past eleven months. Before the departure, the farmers expressed their protest by blowing up the effigy of the central government. The leader of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee Gurmail Singh Fatewala said that this group will support the movement for the next ten days.
