According to the released calendar, several major festivals fall on weekly holidays in 2026. These include Devanarayan Jayanti on January 25, Mahashivratri on February 15, Parashuram Jayanti on April 19, World Adivasi Day on August 9, Navratri Installation on October 11 and Diwali on November 8, all of which fall on Sundays. Eid al-Fitr on March 21, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jayanti on April 11 and Independence Day on August 15 fall on a Saturday. As a result, employees will not get separate leave for these important occasions.
