Police has arrested a drug smuggler in Bathinda. A country-made pistol and two live pistols have been recovered from him. The accused works as a drug dealer in the village. Due to which he had bought a weapon for protection.

According to the police, the arrested accused has been identified as Gurpreet Singh, resident of Phool Khari village, Bathinda. During interrogation of Gurpreet Singh, it was found that there was a boy from his village, from whom Gurpreet had got the weapon from Madhya Pradesh.
Gurpreet used to sell drugs in his village and some people of the village used to stop him from selling drugs. Due to which Gurpreet had a fight a couple of times. Due to which he had bought a weapon for his safety.
