During the bandh, the railway station in Muktsar appeared completely deserted. One or two passengers were also found at the bus stand who had wanted to go out. Apart from this, the entire bus stand appeared empty. Along with this, Punjab Roadways and PUNBUS personnel blocked the wheels of buses from 10 am to noon.

Farmers staged strike at 5 places
On this occasion, dharnas were organized by farmer organizations at 5 places in Muktsar district. In which dharnas were organized by farmers in Muktsar, village Udekaran on Kotkapura road, village Aulakh on Malot-Muktsar road, village Panniwala and Lambi on Fazilka Malot road. On this occasion, the farmers protesting did not allow anyone to move forward except emergency services. All the petrol pumps in Muktsar remained closed in support of the farmers.
