X-ray and ultrasound facility at government rates
X-ray and ultrasound facilities are being provided by the government in all secondary health facilities. A total of 202 X-ray centers and 389 ultrasound centers have been listed for this. Who are providing services at affordable rates set by the government. From January 2024 onwards, the number of color Doppler/ultrasound machines has been increased from 65 to 98 and the number of X-ray machines from 368 to 384. Now X-ray and ultrasound facilities are available in all District Hospitals (DH), Sub-Divisional Hospitals (SDH) and Community Health Centers (CHCs).
70 percent reduction in cases
Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh said that the anti-dengue campaign ‘Har Friday, Dengue Par Vaar’ launched in the state has been widely successful. There has been a decline of about 55 percent in dengue cases in 2024 compared to the previous year and a 70 percent decline in dengue deaths.
