Under the leadership of Harbans Singh Pandher, president of Malwa Cultural Club Khamanon, with the support of Baba Sarabjit Singh Bhalla Barwali, a play written by writer Surinder Singh Dhanoa with the support of Punjab Lok Rang California (USA) and Shreb Rang Manch Mohali at Sri Ram Leela Ground Khamanon. ‘Zafarnama’ was played. Meanwhile, Raminder Singh Kahlon arrived as a special guest from DSP Khaman. The play, which exposes the double character of the hill kings, shows the martyrdom of the younger Sahibzades from the fort of Anandpur Sahab, and the end is stuck on ‘Zafranama’, and the aspect of Aurangzeb shown in this play was also unique. Through this play, the last moments of Aurangzeb’s life were narrated on the stage, how Guru Gobind Singh’s letter again made Emperor Aurangzeb think that two small children were martyred in his reign. And this regret led to his death. In the end, this play became memorable, unfolding the golden page of Sikh history in the echo of cheers. Sanjeev Kalra managed the stage well.
