In Ludhiana today some shopkeepers attacked the Municipal Corporation’s sub-market team. The Tehbazaari team had gone to remove encroachment from the markets. When the officers included in the team confiscated the goods of some shopkeepers, they attacked the team’s vehicle. Police came to intervene

Today, when the team went to Mochpura market to remove encroachment, some people suddenly attacked the corporation’s vehicle while seizing the goods. Shopkeepers have looted the car.
Corporation employees have been attacked with sharp weapons. Two corporation workers have been badly injured. He has been brought to Civil Hospital in injured condition. The injured have been identified as Sunil and Sanju.
A complaint has also been lodged in police station division number 3. Shopkeepers have created obstruction in government work by openly attacking corporation employees.
