The AAP government wants to do politics on the schemes of the Central Government. The plan for 100 electric buses is a Central Government plan. The Central Government is sending these buses to Ludhiana. The Budda River cleaning project is also of the Central Government.

Police stations running from the houses of MLAs in Punjab
In the past too, a lot of politics has taken place on Budda Darya. Budda River can be improved only with the cooperation of the Central Government. Bittu said that today the condition of police stations in Punjab has become such that police stations are being run from the houses of MLAs. Earlier, interviews of criminals like Lawrence have been done from jails. Now senior officers are giving orders like closing the gates of police stations at 10 pm.
Law and order in Punjab has badly deteriorated. The administration remained reluctant to even give NOC to the candidates contesting the BJP’s civic elections in Ludhiana. Even the nominations of many candidates were cancelled.
Avinash Rai Khanna said that Aam Aadmi Party is on the verge of defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections. In Punjab, women have neither received Rs 1,000 nor a pension of Rs 2,500. The AAP government should promise only what it can fulfill.
Manifesto released by BJP in civic elections
1- Expansion in Municipal Corporation area- BJP will increase the existing four zones in Ludhiana Municipal Corporation to 6 zones.
2- Construction of houses- Approval of maps for construction of residential area up to 100 yards will be completely abolished. The Municipal Corporation will provide templates of 5-6 maps, which can be used for construction works. Along with this, if the property is in the name of a woman then special tax exemption will be given.
3- Street vendors- Those selling household goods will be given permanent locations for different areas of the city.
4- Water supply- Under AMRUT 2.0, tap water program will be implemented so that every household can get clean drinking water 24 hours.
5- Animal welfare- With the help of NGOs, enclosures will be built for the care of stray animals. Along with this, efforts will be made to make all areas rabies-free by 2029.
6- Infrastructure- BJP will create gardens to enhance each area of the city. It will be decorated for open gym and entertainment. It will be ensured that the construction of overbridge near Chand Cinema is completed in record time.
7- Smart City- The infrastructure project will be completed on time by properly utilizing the Rs 889 crore released by the Central Government to the city for the Smart City Project.
8- Cleaning of Budde drain- BJP gives priority to cleaning Budde drain. Therefore, attention will be paid to the supply of water in the areas around the drain. A board or committee will be formed with this purpose. In which representatives of all concerned departments will be included. Environmental control experts and members of nearby Nagar Panchayats will also participate in it.
9- Financial structure will remain strong- BJP will keep the financial structure of the Municipal Corporation intact. There will be regular audit of the money being spent on the ongoing works of the city.
10- Sanitation and waste management- Waste management system will be implemented in the city. Garbage dumps will be removed in Jamalpur and Giyaspura areas. Bioremediation process will be used to reclaim municipal land.
11-Sewerage- A campaign will be launched to clean and repair sewerage pipelines in the city. Preference will be given to the old city. There is a possibility of water overflow in Rahon Road and Shivaji Nagar areas. New sewerage pipelines will also be laid.
12- Transport- The public transport network of Ludhiana will be improved. Public bus service will be started. The construction work of bus depots will be expedited.
13- Development of parking- Multi-level parking will be created to solve the parking problem in the city.
14- Disposal of pollution- Smog towers will be installed at the most crowded squares in the city. Strict guidelines will be issued to control pollution caused by the city’s factories.
15- Public service- Facilitation centers for all government services will be set up across the city.
16- Security- Public safety will be ensured. CCTV cameras will be installed in all traffic roads and residential areas.
17- Street light- Work will be done to run all the lights present in the city with solar system.
18- Cleanliness- Considering the demand for cleaning sewerage in the city, they promise to recruit new sanitation workers. Will provide safety cover to all the employees engaged in sewerage cleaning.
19- Respect to soldiers- BJP will provide special exemption in Municipal Corporation Tax to the soldiers deployed in the service of the country.
