Today again Chatraveer Singh has returned home to Akali Dal. Former Akali Dal MLA Ranjit Singh Dhillon welcomed Chatarveer wearing a patka. Chatraveer won the election from Ward 20. Where he defeated AAP candidate Ankur Gulati by 415 votes.
Councilor Chatarveer Singh had left Akali Dal and joined AAP about 6 days ago.
After this, on December 22, AAP worker Rakesh Kumar, living in Sanjay Gandhi Colony, filed a case of kidnapping and assault against him. The very next day on 23 December, he joined AAP. After Chatraveer joined AAP, AAP had a total of 44 councilors, but now again AAP is left with 43 councilors.
Meanwhile, former Akali Dal MLA Ranjit Singh Dhillon said that the councilors are being pressurized into joining AAP. But Akali Dal workers are strong. He is not afraid of any push by AAP.

There was a dispute at the polling booth In the complaint given to the police, Rakesh Kumar had told that the incident had happened on December 21 during the Municipal Corporation elections. He was posted at the AAP booth outside BCM School in Sector-32. Then Kamal Arora and his friends confronted him. Arora asked his companions to deal with him.
Rakesh Kumar said that he was misled by a person named Harvinder Singh, who persuaded him to leave the polling area for safety. Then he was kidnapped. After this, he was taken to a deserted area on Bhamian Road, where he was beaten.
Meanwhile, Parminder Singh, one of the accused, received a call from Arora, in which he was asked not to leave. After being forced to drink alcohol and beaten badly, he was left in a critical condition in an empty plot. From there he was taken to the Civil Hospital for treatment.
