2. India Post Payments Bank signs MoU with EPFO
India Post Payments Bank has signed MoU with EPFO. Under this MoU, EPFO will provide digital life certificate service to pensioners at home.
Agreement (MoU) program was organized in New Delhi.
- It was signed by IPPB CEO R Vishwavesharan and EPFO Central Provident Fund Commissioner Ramesh Krishnamurthy.
- Under this collaboration, India Post Payments Bank will avail the services of more than 1.65 lakh post offices and more than 3 lakh service providers.
3. Oscar-nominated actress Diane Ladd passes away
Three-time Oscar nominated actress Diane Ladd passed away.
She became famous with the role of a waitress in ‘Alice Don’t Live Here Anymore’.
- She was 89 years old. She was a talented comedian.

4. Netflix will open its office in Hyderabad for VFX
Netflix will open its office in Hyderabad for VFX. This will be Netflix’s second office in India after Mumbai.
Netflix has taken 41,000 square feet office on lease in HITECH City.
- The new office will handle production and post-production work related to regional content, project supervision, technical work flow and VFX.

1. Law students will not be prevented from appearing in examinations due to low attendance.
On November 3, the Delhi High Court said that law students cannot be stopped from appearing in the examinations due to low attendance.
The High Court gave this order while disposing of the petition related to the death of law student Sushant Rohilla in 2016.
The bench of Justice Pratibha M. Singh and Justice Amit Sharma gave this order. Along with this, the Bar Council of India (BCI) has been asked to improve the rules related to attendance norms.
2. CBSE increased the fees for 10th, 12th board exam
Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE increased the fees for 10th, 12th board exam. This will be applicable to students appearing for board exams in February 2026. Now fees for 5 subjects will be Rs 1,600, which earlier was Rs 1,500. Apart from this, fees for additional subjects and practicals have also been increased. This is the first time in the last 6 years that the fees have been increased.
