The Punjab Government is keeping a land and assets of Rs 2,000 crore in 13 towns.
Under this, 13,000 crore of Rs 2,000 crore will be available for Mohali, New Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Amritsar and Patiala, commercial and institutional locations will be available for auction.
Punjab Urban Development Authority (PUDA) and other development authorities of state will start e-auction on March 12 and the auction will end on March 22.
Under this will be available for group housing, schools, commercial plots and other properties, such as sco / scf and booth etc. GMADA officials said that the successful bidar would have been allotted by the last 10 percent of the final bidding price on the spot.
After the deposit of 25 per cent of the bid amount, the sites will be captured by allotions. Earlier, Pood and other regional development authorities had auctioned assets of more than Rs 2,000 crore twice in September and October 2024.
