Punjab News: ‘Government cannot fail farmers’ strike’: Pandher

Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher has appealed to the residents of Punjab and Haryana to reach Khanuri and Shambhu border in large numbers after 10 months of farmers’ dharna. Pandher while talking to ANI said, “I appeal to the residents of Punjab and Haryana to reach Khanuri and Shambhu border in large numbers as our protest has completed 10 months. Government agencies are trying to create confusion among people.

He said that Haryana MP Ram Chandra Jangra is making irresponsible statements on the protest and I am BJP president JP. I appeal to Nadda to expel him from the party or take action against him and he should apologize for his comments.” Apart from this, the farmer leader said that his movement is for the people of India and BJP cannot fail the farmers’ protest, the people of India are the biggest.

The leader said that the BJP is forgetting that it cannot defeat the farmers’ strike, we will show the ‘black face’ of the BJP government. Pandher said that the open letter we have written to the government has made them worried. People are joining the dharna in large numbers, due to which the BJP government is even more worried… 101 farmers are ready to lay down their lives for the country. We will fight this torture of the government with patience.

Earlier, on December 12, Pandher raised slogans against the BJP-led central government and accused them of not fulfilling the promises made to the farmers. He said that the farmers protesting on the Shambhu border have not received any proposal from the Center for talks on their demand. Pandher told ANI, “It has been 305 days since Delhi Movement 2.0 started and seven days since ‘Amar Fast’. –ANI
