The body of 38-year-old youth Iqbaljit Singh Mona, who has been missing for the last two days under mysterious circumstances in village Lohtbaddi under Sadar Raikot police station, has been found at the house of village Panch Gurpreet Kaur. Raikot Sadar Police has registered a case of involuntary manslaughter under conspiracy and started the operation.

According to the information received, on the middle night of January 21-22, the deceased Iqbaljit Singh alias Mona sat at the house of his friend Kulwinder Singh alias Sanhi son of Avtar Singh resident of Lohtbaddi and drank alcohol together with Udham Singh son of Tara Singh resident of Barundi. Meanwhile, Iqbaljit Singh died in a state of intoxication.

According to Sub-Inspector Kulwinder Singh, Head of Thana Sadar Raikot, a case has been registered against Kulwinder alias Sanhi, Udham Singh, a resident of village Barundi and Panch Gurpreet Kaur, and the body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem.

According to police chief Kulwinder Singh, despite the death of Iqbaljit Singh on the middle of January 21-22, Kulwinder Singh alias Sanhi, Udham Singh and Kulwinder Singh’s mother and village panch Gurpreet Kaur, no one has any information about the death of Iqbalpreet Singh Mona. given Panchani Gurpreet Kaur kept searching for the deceased along with the family members and the village panchayat. Last night, in the presence of the village panchayat, the police recovered the body of the deceased from Panch Gurpreet Kaur’s house and sent it to Civil Hospital Jagraon for post-mortem.
