In a major breakthrough, Punjab Police has busted a Pakistan-backed terrorist module which was supported by Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Meanwhile, the police recovered the captured terrorists.

Sharing the information, DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav said that this module was responsible for the grenade attacks in the state. Batala Police has solved the mystery of two major grenade attacks at Bangar Police Station in Ghane and Wadala Bangar Police Station in Gurdaspur.
Four people have been arrested in this action, including mastermind Abhijot Singh. He was working on the instructions of Happy Pasiyan and Shamsher alias Honey, who were living abroad. Both the accused are currently in Armenia.

Weapons were hidden in the bushes
DGP Punjab said that the two other accused were arrested when they were taken for recovery. Meanwhile, the accused attacked the police with two pistols kept hidden in the bushes. After this the accused tried to run away.
The police acted in self-defense, due to which both the accused were injured. He has been admitted to Batala Civil Hospital and his condition is said to be stable.
Foreign pistol recovered from the accused
Police have recovered one 9mm Glock 26 pistol (Austrian make) and six live cartridges from this module. Punjab Police has clarified that their operations will continue to eliminate organized crime and maintain peace and security in the state. A thorough investigation of the matter is going on so that this entire terrorist network can be exposed.
