Outside the Parliament here today, the Congress MPs of Punjab protested against the demand to restore the Punjab University Senate elections. On this occasion, a demand was also made to cancel the police case against the students of the university. Congress MPs raised slogans outside the Parliament House in protest against the BJP government at the Centre. Member of Parliament Amarinder Singh Raja Waring while talking to reporters said that the old democratic structure should be restored in Punjab University Chandigarh and the police case registered against the struggling students should be canceled immediately. Senate member of Punjab University Inderpal Sidhu said that the term of the Senate of Punjab University has ended on October 31, students and other parties have been protesting and protesting for many days to conduct these elections, but they are yet to conduct these elections. The confirmation has not been filled. Mr. Sidhu said that these elections should be held soon to maintain the atmosphere of Punjab University. He said that the cases registered against the students should be canceled immediately.
