The four-day Punjab State Inter-Varsity Youth Mela 2024 being organized at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana under the leadership of Youth Services Department has concluded successfully. Panjab University Chandigarh has won the overall trophy of Yuvak Mela. Punjab Youth Development Board Chairman Parminder Singh Goldi joined the closing ceremony of the youth fair as the chief guest who was invited by the Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Welcomed by Satbir Singh Gosal. Yesterday, during the youth fair, there was a big fight between the two sides of the students over some trivial matter, during which both of them started hitting chairs and tables on each other. In the morning, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann arrived as the chief guest in this function, and soon after his departure, a fight broke out between the students. The security personnel and professors present there intervened and pacified the matter. It is being told that this dispute was caused by commenting on each other after winning the prize. Now the PAU administration is investigating in this case. In this case, the video of the fight also went viral, after which the police of PAU police station have started investigating the matter. According to information, one university won a medal after a presentation at a youth fair, after which students of another university allegedly used bad language and made inappropriate comments. Meanwhile, the students of both factions got into a scuffle. University Vice Chancellor Satbir Singh Gosal said that this matter is in his attention. There was a clash between the students of two universities during the youth fair, but the matter is not that big. Inspector Rajinderpal Singh, SHO of PAU police station, says that they have got the video. The security personnel of PAU informed the police, but when they reached the spot, the matter was over. There has been no complaint in this matter yet.
