Raj Kapoor used to tell the story by putting the heroines on his lap
For information, let me tell you, my name was Raj Kapoor in the lead role in Joker and he also directed it. According to a report of Bollywood wedding, in an interview to ANI, Ranjit remembered how Kapoor used to tell the story of Joker by sitting on his lap to the heroines of the film. The actor said, ‘My name was Joker Picture, not … she has explained the scene by putting her heroine on her lap.’
When Ranjit remembers Raj Kapoor’s first meeting
However, Ranjit did not take long to clarify the intention of the Shree 420 actor during this period. The fate actor told that Raj Kapoor never tampered with actresses and called her his daughter. He said, ‘He did not tamper while doing so. When he used to ask the actress to sit on his lap, he used to call her ‘Putar’ (daughter). In the same conversation, Ranjit recalled his first meeting with Raj Kapoor inside RK Studio. He remembered that he had seen big cut-outs of actresses who played lead roles in actor-producer films. He also told that the boot polish actor was a very good -looking person.
The longest film was Mora Naam Joker
Ranjit further said, ‘When I entered the studio (RK Studio), I saw the life-size cut-outs of all the actresses acting in his (Raj Kapoor) films. The moment he (Raj Kapoor) entered, he said, ‘Sorry Ronnie Ji!’ He was a very good -looking person. His color was fair and his cheek was red. His eyes were light. Talking about my name Joker, this film is the longest film of Indian cinema and it flopped badly. Earlier, the 1964 film was Sangam.
