Rajasthan: Cold wave conditions in some parts, temperature remained minus 1.3 degrees Celsius

The fury of cold continues in many areas of Rajasthan, Fatehpur of Sikar district recorded the lowest temperature of minus 1.3 degrees Celsius. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), cold wave conditions were recorded in many parts of the state on Friday night.

The minimum temperature was 1.9 degrees Celsius in Crowley, 2.4 degrees in Churu, 2.6 degrees in Bhilwara, 3.0 degrees in Sirohi, 3.2 degrees in Chittorgarh, 4.0 degrees in Pilani, 4.5 degrees in Jaipur and Sangaria. 4.9 degrees Celsius was recorded. The IMD said that during the last 24 hours, the weather in the state has been mainly dry and cold wave conditions are expected to continue.

Possibility of temperature rise in the areas of Kashmir

On the other hand, a day after the first snowfall of the season in the plains of Kashmir, the minimum temperature was recorded in the entire valley. The Meteorological Department has predicted a cold wave in many places for the next four days, with which the temperature is likely to drop further. Gulmarg was the coldest place in the valley last night.

The Meteorological Department said that a day after snowfall in the upper areas and some plains of Kashmir, the night temperature has dropped in the valley. According to officials, the temperature in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, was recorded at minus 2 degrees on Thursday night, which was minus 0.5 degrees on Wednesday. He said that Gulmarg Valley, the main tourist spot in North Kashmir, was the coldest place, where the temperature was recorded at minus 9.6 degrees, which was minus 5.2 degrees on Wednesday night. -News-Patiala
