1. PM Modi releases postage stamp, coin on national anthem
On November 7, PM Modi participated in the program to mark 150 years of the composition of the national song Vande Mataram.
PM released a postage stamp and coin to mark 150 years of the national anthem.

2. Bollywood actress and singer Sulakshana Pandit passes away
Bollywood actress Sulakshana Pandit died on 6 November in Mumbai. She was 71 years old.
He started singing at the age of 9.
- He received the Filmfare Award for the song ‘Tu Hi Sagar, Tu Hi Kinara’ from the 1975 film ‘Sankalp’.
- She belonged to a musical family. She was the niece of classical singer Pandit Jasraj.
3. INS Ikshak joins Navy
On 6 November, INS Ikshak was commissioned into the Indian Navy at Kochi.
This is the third ship of the Survey Vessel Large (SVL) category.
- The event was presided over by Naval Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi.
- It is made of 80% indigenous technology and will be capable of conducting deep sea hydrographic surveys.
4. Para archer Shital Devi made it to the normal team
On November 6, para archer Sheetal Devi became the first disabled athlete to qualify for the able-bodied team.
Sheetal, an 18-year-old disabled person from Jammu and Kashmir, will play for India in the compound women’s category.
- Sheetal secured a place in this competition among more than 60 capable archers.
- He won bronze in mixed team compound at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

1. Teacher vacancy in Rajasthan
Staff Selection Board has started the application process for teacher recruitment examination. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The recruitment examination will be conducted from 17 to 21 January 2026.
2. Recruitment starts in Jharkhand SSC
Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has started the application process for Warder Recruitment 2025 from today. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website jssc.jharkhand.gov.in.
Candidates can make fee payment and upload documents till 12 midnight of 10th December 2025. A chance to make corrections in the application will be given from 11 to 13 December 2025.

2. Indian mathematician included in NCERT 7th book
NCERT has included the contributions of Indian mathematicians to teach the rules of mathematics in the new books for Class 7. In the new mathematics book Ganit Prakash 2, topics like algebra, integers have been taught with the formula of Acharya Brahmagupta.
Examples from Sanskrit texts have been included in the book. Besides, questions related to ancient Indian mathematicians and the ancient Indian text ‘Brahmasphutasiddhanta’ have also been given a place in the book.
