The Ministry of External Affairs informed on Friday 28 March that PM Narendra Modi will visit both Thailand and Sri Lanka next week. The main objective of this visit will be to promote regional cooperation under India’s new ‘Ocean Policy’.

In the first phase of the yatra, Modi will go to Bangkok from April 3 to 4 to attend the sixth BIMSTEC summit organized by Thailand. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, this is the PM’s third visit to Thailand.

His participation will confirm India’s ‘neighbor’ policy, ‘Act East’ policy, ‘ocean’ vision and commitment to Indo-Pacific Vision.

Modi island from Thailand will go to Sri Lanka on a three -day visit to hold talks with the top leaders of the nation.

2. Immigration and Foreigners Bill 2025 pass in Lok Sabha

The Immigration and Foreigners Bill 2025 passed the Lok Sabha on Thursday 27 March. The Immigration and Foreigners Bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha on 11 March. 30 MPs of power and opposition spoke on this.

According to this bill, if a person illegally brings, stays or settled a foreigner to the country, he can be imprisoned for 3 years or a fine of Rs 2 to 5 lakhs or both. Any foreigner will have a ‘legitimate passport and visa’ mandatory to come to India. The opposition opposed this bill in the Lok Sabha.

1. CA final exam will now be three times a year

The ICAI i.e. the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India announced on Thursday that the CA final examination will be held three times a year from 2025. Last year, ICAI had decided to conduct intermediate and foundation courses three times a year and now the CA final examination will be done in a similar way.

ICAI said in a statement, “The 26th Council of ICAI has decided to conduct a CA final examination thrice a year to keep pace with global best practices and provide more opportunities to students. Till now this exam was conducted twice a year.

Now all three level CA finals, intermediate and foundation will have an exam three times every year. Due to which students will get more opportunities to sit in the exam.

ICAI will conduct this exam in January, May and September.

2. MP Board 5th, 8th result released

MP Board has released the 5th, 8th result 2025. MP Board Class 8th Result 2025 has been released on the official website of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE). Students can see the result by using roll number and necessary credentials.

MP board class 5th, 8th examinations were held from 24 February to 5 March 2025. This year, more than 11.17 lakh students appeared in the 5th class, while 11.68 lakh students appeared in the 8th class examination.
