2 superstars are making comeback on screen after many years. Kamas Haasan announced this at the Nexa Cine Awards 2025 held in Dubai. The veteran superstar was asked whether the news of re -working with Rajinikanth was true, then the actor said yes while answering these questions.
Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth had separated ways
Kamal Haasan said about working together that both of them wanted to come together long ago, but the makers used to break the same biscuits and give them half-half, but both of them wanted one biscuit each. Now he is satisfied with half-hearted biscuits and hence he is coming together again.
Work in many films in 70-80
Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth were considered to be each other’s consistency in the South Film Industry, both tried to be better than each other. The pair had acted in many films in the 70- 80s. Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth worked in films like Apoorwa Ragangal (1975), Mundru Mudichu (1976), Avragal (1977), 16 Wayadhinile (1977) – (meaning: “16 years of age”), Ilmai, Frank Adukirathathu (1978), Ninathale Inikkum.
