In view of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s proposed visit to Sirsa today, a strict ban has been imposed on flying drones in the area. In the order issued by District Magistrate Lakshit Sarin, it has been said that in view of the proposed visit of the Defense Minister of the country to Sirsa, the flying of drones will be prohibited in an area of five kilometers of Sirsa today.
It may be mentioned that the Defense Minister may come here today to express his grief with the Chautala family in view of the demise of former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala. According to sources, if the weather is good, then the defense minister is expected to reach here soon.
The District Magistrate has made it clear in the issued order that in view of security reasons, the flying of drones (UAVs) within a radius of five kilometers of Municipal Council Sirsa area has been banned. The area designated under the Drone Rules 2021 has been declared a temporary red zone. These orders will not apply to employees posted on duty and police personnel. Action will be taken under Section 223 of Indian Judiciary Code against the person who violates the order.
