To increase the income of farmers in agriculture, the central government has increased the minimum support price up to 35 percent on 22 crops. Giving detailed information about the MSP given on crops, the Union Minister said that the MSP on crops by the central government is not for any particular state or region but for all the states across the country. Concerned ministries are considering the views. After inclusion, the Minimum Support Price (MSP) is fixed for 22 agricultural crops for the entire country based on the recommendations of the Commission on Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP), which are It includes 14 seasonal crops, 6 rubber crops and 2 commercial crops. It includes cost of production, demand and supply situation, domestic and international prices, inter-crop price parity, trade between agricultural and non-agricultural sectors. Conditions, utilization of land, water and other inputs are fixed and also ensures 50 per cent profit on the cost of production of crops.
