Rashid expressed his grief on social media

Expressing grief for the Afghan people killed in Pakistani airstrikes, Rashid Khan wrote on his X handle, “I am deeply saddened by the loss of civilians in the recent Pakistani airstrikes in Afghanistan. This is an incident that has claimed the lives of women, children and budding young cricketers who dreamed of representing their country at the world level for Afghanistan.”
