Karnataka government blamed RCB responsible The Karnataka government’s report was revealed on 17 July. RCB was told in the report responsible for the accident. Kohli was also mentioned in it. The Karnataka government said that RCB had not taken any permission from the government for the Victory Parade held in Chinnaswamy.
However, the government also said that the sudden cancellation of the event could have provoked violence and law and order in the city would have deteriorated. The government submitted a report to the High Court on 15 July. The government had said in the court that they want to keep the report confidential but the court said that there is no legal basis for such secrecy.
