A recruitment campaign of Shiromani Akali Dal was started in police district Khanna in which membership was obtained from Akali workers of four constituencies Sahnewal, Khanna, Samrala and Payal. In this regard, a district level meeting was held at Gurdwara Manji Sahib Kottan, and this campaign was started by cutting slips and re-membering with senior leaders including Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Yadwinder Singh Yadu, Paramjit Singh and Manjit Singh.
