1. Nepal PM KP Sharma resigns

Nepal’s PM KP Sharma Oli resigned on Tuesday 9 September when violent protests on social media ban was intensified.

The protesters have entered the Parliament House and have arson.

  • Demonstrations have been held in major cities of Nepal including Tuesday’s capital Kathmandu to demand resignation.
  • Apart from Oli, 4 ministers have resigned so far.
  • The demonstration began on Monday 8 September. So far 22 people have died and more than 250 people have been injured.

2. PM Modi today on the era of Punjab and Himachal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today visited flood affected areas in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh on 9 September. Both the states have been declared flood -hit as the state governments.

This is the first visit to PM after the flood.

  • He conducted an aerial survey of Chamba, Kullu and Mandi in Himachal.
  • A meeting with officials in Dharamshala, Kangra. CM Sukhwinder Sukhu was also present with PM.
  • During this, he announced financial assistance of Rs 1500 crore.
  • Financial assistance of Rs 2-2 lakh will be given to the families of the deceased and 50-50 thousand rupees to the injured.

RBI has issued a notification for recruitment to the posts of Officer Grade B. Online applications for this recruitment will start from September 10. Candidates will be able to apply by visiting RBI’s official website Opportunities.Rbi.org.in.

Phase 1 online exam related to this recruitment will be on 18-19 September 2025. Phase -2 On the other hand, online exam will be held on 6-7 December 2025.

1. Video of Rajasthan Education Minister and his niece’s conversation video viral

A video of the niece of Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar is going viral on social media. In fact, Dilawar’s niece Border Parihar for RPSC Senior Teacher Recruitment Exam in Baran reached Kamla Convent School Examination Center in Atru after reporting time.

She continued to request for the entry with folded hands with the staff for about half an hour. The officers on duty refused to give the entry in view of the rules.

When the entry was not found, Seema called her uncle Education Minister Madan Dilawar and asked him to talk to the examination officials.

In response, Dilawar refused to enter and said- rules are equal for all. All the candidates appearing in the exam are equal. No concession can be given on arrival late.

His response is becoming quite viral and people are praising his reply.

2. SSC banned the examination papers to put social media

Staff Selection Commission ie SSC has banned analysis, disconnection or sharing of its exam papers on social media.

The Commission has issued a notice in this regard saying that those who do so can be punished for up to 1 crore or imprisonment of up to 10 years.

The SSC notice wrote, ‘All content creators, social media platforms and teachers are warned not to share any SSC exam disconnection, analysis or decimation. On the violation of this, strict action will be taken under the PEA Act, 2024.
