2. Mahendra Gurjar set a world record in Javelin Throw F42

On 26 May, Indian Jeweln thrower Mahendra Gurjar won the gold medal at the Notvil World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Switzerland.

Mahendra set a world record by throwing a 61.17 meter javelin in the F42 category.

  • Mahendra broke the 59.19 meter world record of Brazil’s Roberto Floriani Adenylson in 2022.
  • Mahendra Gurjar in his third attempt threw Bhale to the second world record of 61.17 meters.
  • His first two attempts were 56.11 and 55.51 meters.
  • This is Mahendra’s second gold in Competition in Notvil World Para Athletics Grandery.
  • He also topped the podium in a long jump T42 competition with an effort of 5.59 meters on 23 May.

  • B.Ed./BLED or equivalent degree with 55% marks and 55% marks

1. UPPSC PCS Men’s Examination Scheduled

On May 27, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission i.e. UPPSC has released the schedule of Provincial Civil Service (PCS) Main Exam. Candidates can check the exam calendar by visiting the official website uppsc.up.nic.in.

According to the official schedule, the UPPSC PCS Men’s exam will be held in two shifts daily from June 29 to July 2. The first shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

UPPSC conducted the PCS Prelims Exam on December 22, 2024 and its result was declared on February 28, 2025. A total of 15,066 candidates were selected for UPPSC PCS Mains Examination.

2. Jharkhand Board 10th result released

On 27 May, the Jharkhand Academic Council released the 10th board result. Students can check their results by visiting the board’s official website jac.jharkhand.gov.in. This year 91.71% students passed 10th, which is 90.40% more than last year. At the same time, this time a total of 90.96% boys and 92.38% girls passed.

The performance of Koderma district was best in Jharkhand 10th Board with 97.831% result, while Pakur district finished second with 96.830% result. A total of 4,33,944 students had registered, out of which 4,31,488 students attended the exam. Out of this, 3,95,755 students passed.
