1. PM will inaugurate the country’s first 8 lane urban elevated
The country’s first 8 -lane urban elevated Dwarka Expressway has been completed. On August 17, PM Modi will inaugurate Dwarka Expressway and Urban Extension Road-2 (UER-2) at a program organized near Rohini Heliped.
It is the country’s first 8-lane elevated urban expressway.
- Its total length is 29 km, of which 18.9 km in Haryana and 10.1 km in Delhi.
- The total cost of this project is around Rs 9,000 crore.
- After the commencement of both the expressway, the airport will be able to reach the airport terminal 3 in less than 10 minutes from the Dwarka Expressway toll in Gurugram.
- Apart from this, Sonipat and NH 44 will be able to reach the Delhi Panipat highway in less than an hour than UER-2.
2. 79th Independence Day celebrations will include Agniveer for the first time
The 79th Independence Day will be celebrated on 15 August 2025. This time the theme is ‘New India’. This year, 11 Agniveer will participate in the national anthem playing the national anthem for the first time. Also, there will be Operation Sindoor logo on the invitation card and the watermark of Chenab Bridge.
Full dress rehearsal was done at the Red Fort in Delhi before the Independence Day celebrations.
- For the first time, Major Prakash Singh will take over the command of the army contingent in the National Flag Guard involved in the national anthem band.
- The Navy contingent will be commanded by Lieutenant Commander Mohammad Parvez and Air Force contingent will be commanded by Squadron Leader VV Sharavan.

1. MP Board released 10th, 12th date sheet
Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBEB) has declared the datesheet of 10th and 12th examinations to be held in 2026 6 months before the exam. The 12th examination will run from 7 February to 3 March.
At the same time, the 10th exam will start from February 11 and will end on 2 March. The time table was released on 6 August last year. Practical exams will run from 10 February to 10 March. The exams will be from 9 am to 12 noon.
2. Rajsthan High Court heard the petition to do MBBS of Blind Students
