  • South Eastern Railway: 921 posts
  • Southern Railway: 510 posts
  • West Central Railway: 759 posts
  • Western Railway: 885 posts
  • Metro Railway Kolkata: 225 posts

Educational qualification:

  • 10th pass
  • ITI degree in related trade
  • Diploma or degree in Engineering for other posts

Edge Limit:

  • Minimum: 18 years
  • Maximum: 30 years
  • The age will be calculated as the basis of 1 July 2025.
  • All reserved classes have been given maximum age exemption as per government rules

Fees:

  • General, OBC, EWS: Rs 500
  • Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Divyang, Ex -servicemen, all women: 250 rupees

Salary:

Rs 19,900 per month

Selection Process:

  • CBT First and CBT Second Examination
  • CBAT
  • Document verification
  • Medical exam

Exam Pattern:

  • Computer based exam CBT First will ask 75 questions related to maths, mental ability, general science and general awareness.
  • Every question will be of one digit which will be given 60 minutes to solve.
  • In CBT Second Exam Part 1, 100 questions related to Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering will be asked.
  • You will get 90 minutes time to solve it.
  • 75 questions related to technical will be asked in Part 2. It will be given 60 minutes to solve it.
  • Negative marking will be one third in the CBT exam.
