1. Developed India Employment Scheme launched
On 15 August 79th Independence Day, Prime Minister Modi announced from the Red Fort that the India Employment Scheme developed from today is being implemented. Under this scheme, 15 thousand rupees will be given by the government to the youth who get the first job in the private sector.
PM Modi hoisted the tricolor. Flying officer Rasika Sharma was a flag bearer of PM.
- For this, monthly income will be required to be less than 1 lakh, registration in EPFO and contribution in EPFO for 6 months.
- Such companies that will gather more employment will also be given incentives. This scheme will provide employment to 3.5 crore youth.
- In this, you can apply from today on August 15, 2025, and the last date to apply in it will be 31 July 2027.
- The benefit of this scheme will be available in two parts. 15,000 rupees will be given in the first part.
- The second part will be given on completion of 2 years to focus on the manufacturing sector.
- Incentive will be increased if it is maintained for 4 years. Also, a certificate of Financial Literacy Program will also be given.

1. Tata Company chose Noel Tata director of board
Tata Group’s company Tata Sons appointed Noel Tata as director of the board at its 107th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 14 August.
Noel Tata is the chairman of the Tata Trust since the death of Ratan Tata in October last year.

- 9 officers of the Air Force have been given Veer Chakra. These include fighter pilots who destroy terrorist bases in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor.
- The government has given the best war service medal to 7 officers of Armed Forces. These include 3 officers of Air Force, 2 of Army and one of the Navy. Earlier these medals were given during the Kargil War.
- 18 soldiers of the Indian Army have been awarded the bravery medal.
