Surrey: The monthly meeting of the Central Punjabi Writers’ Association (North America) was held at the function hall of the Senior Citizen Center Surrey. The meeting dedicated to the Lasani sacrifice of Mata Gujri and the four Sahibzades was presided over by the Vice President of the Sabha Surjit Singh Madhopuri and writer Charan Singh. He said that the Punjabi community all over the world should make their next generation aware of the martyrdom of the four Sahibzades of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. This will inspire the future generations to fight for the truth and stay in the best condition even in difficult conditions and they will stay connected to their religion and heritage.
Surjit Singh Madhopuri shared the financial report of the year 2024 prepared by Rupinder Khaira Rupi, Treasurer of the Sabha and the Sabha gave its consent to it.
