A new schedule of CBT II has been released for the recruitment of 18,799 Assistant Loco Pilot i.e. ALP in the railway. This exam was to be held on 19 and 20 March. The Railway Board had issued a notice to postpon it just before the exam. Now its new date has been released. The exam will be held on 2 and 6 May.
Reigns may include 2 types of candidates-
- Candidates whose exam was to be held on March 19 but could not be examined at the center.
- Candidates whose exam was to be held in the second March and the first shift of March 20.
Apart from these 2 types of candidates, the candidates whose exam has been completed on March 19, does not need to join the reigns.
It is necessary to reach the test center at reporting time Candidates who are going to join the reigns, reach the exam center at the prescribed reporting time as per their shift.
- For first shift – 7:30 am
- For second shift – 12:30 pm
The exam for candidates will be released 10 days before the City Slip Exam, and the admit card will be released 4 days before the exam.
18,799 ALP posts will be recruited
A total of 18,799 ALP posts will be filled for this recruitment. Earlier, RRB had released 5,696 posts for this recruitment.
Selection Process:
- Computer based test
- CBT-2
- Computer Based Aptitude Test
- Document verification
Important documents:
- 10th marksheet
- 12th marksheet
- ITI, Diploma or Degree
- Candidate photo and signature
- Caste certificate (for reserve category)
- Candidate’s mobile number and email id
- Aadhar card
Exam Pattern:
- Both CBT-1 and CBT-2 will have negative marking.
- One third of the points will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- There will be no minus marking in the Aptitude Test.
