Raichur, 22 January
At least four persons, including three students, were killed and ten others injured when a vehicle overturned in Raichur district early today. The vehicle was carrying students of Mantralaya Sanskrit Pathshala on a trip to Hampi to worship at the Narahari temple.
The police said that the accident took place near Araginamara camp of Sindhanur. The deceased students have been identified as Aryavandan (18), Suchendra (22) and Abhilash (20). Driver Shiva (24) also died in this accident. According to the information received, 10 injured have been admitted to the local hospital. Sindhanur police reached the spot and took the bodies into possession and took them to the hospital. According to the officials, a case is being registered and action is being taken in this regard.
