Road Accident: A high-speed Swift car went out of control and rammed into a tree near Cole Law University in village Bakshiwala. During this accident that happened last night, the driver of the car died on the spot, while his two companions in the car were injured.
The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Jashandeep Singh son of Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of Sherpur, District Sangrur. While the injured include Amandeep Singh and Yadi Vasian Sherpur.

When contacted, SHO Sukhdev Singh of Bakhshiwala police station confirmed the incident and said that the deceased was an army man and had come on leave. He was going to his father-in-law’s house at nearby village Rodewal. Both the injured youths are his friends.
