Senior BJP leader and party candidate from Kalkaji Assembly Constituency Ramesh Bidhuri has again been embroiled in controversies. Former MP Bidhuri today courted controversy by saying that after winning the Delhi Assembly elections, she will make the roads of the area like the ‘cheeks’ of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi. In the alleged video that has gone viral on social media, Bidhuri can be heard saying, “I assure you that just as we have built roads in Okhla and Sangam Vihar, we will build all the roads in Kalkaji for Priyanka Gandhi.” On the other hand, Alka Lamba, the Congress candidate from Kalkaji and president of Mahila Congress, targeted Bidhuri and accused her of disrespecting women once again. is

Meanwhile, Bidhuri, who has been in controversy for her statements before, initially defended herself by saying that RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav had also made similar comments about actor and BJP MP Hema Malini.

However, Bidhuri later said in a post on X that she was sorry if anyone was hurt by her comments. Bidhuri said that her comments are being given a wrong color for political gains.
