Ronit Roy, who became emotional as Prithviraj Chauhan’s father, will play the role of Raja Someshwar in the new show

New Delhi: Actor Ronit Roy will be seen playing the role of Prithviraj Chauhan’s father in the TV show ‘Chakravarti Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan’. Talking about his role, he said that while playing this character, he felt as if he is repeating the experience of being the father of his real life.

Ronit Roy said that as he thinks about his children and takes care of them, he feels the same feeling for his son as Prithviraj Chauhan’s father. This character is very private and emotional for him, because in this he feels the experiences of being his own father.

Talking about his character, Ronit Roy said, ‘It is easy for him to play the role of Emperor Someshwar, because it is very similar to the experience of being a father in his real life. He is not just a king, but a father who always wants best for his son. Being a father myself, I did not need to work much on these feelings, I have felt these feelings in real life. Due to which I am able to play this character with a lot of truth and depth.

Ronit Roy further said, ‘Though this story is historic, the relationship between father-son is always the same. Every father sees a part of himself in the strength of his child and I have tried to bring the same true connection to the screen. I hope that the audience will also feel the same feeling that I have experienced by playing this character. Through this character, I have felt a deep connection not only with history, but also with humanity. The show ‘Chakravarti Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan’ is going to premiere on Sony Entertainment Television on 4 June.
