Ruckus over Facebook and Instagram Account Ban Users Said We We WERE KICICED OUT from Any Reason | Ruckus on Facebook and Instagram account ban! Users said

Facebook and Instagram: Recently, many Facebook and Instagram users around the world have complained that their account has been closed without any concrete reason. Many users told BBC that they are finding it very difficult to get their account again, and there is no clear answer from Meta.

Technical disturbance or effect of AI?

Last week, Meta admitted that some Facebook groups were wrongly suspended due to a “technical error”. But users say that the case is not limited to groups only, personal profile, business page and Instagram accounts have also been affected.

The big problem is that human intervention in the moderation system of meta is decreasing and decisions like account suspension are now being left on AI. Users allege that when they appeal, in a few minutes the reply is received, which deepens the doubt that the whole process is being run by machines, not by humans.

Real troubles of users

A Facebook account of a Canadian woman named Britney Watson was closed for nine days in May. He said, “It was not just an app, it was a way of connection with my memories, friends and mental health support groups.” Despite his appeal, Mata did not tell him any concrete reason.

The account of John Dell, who runs a local news group in London, was also suddenly suspended. Since he was alone, now new posts are not allowed in that group and old posts have also been removed.

Mitchell Demelo, who is associated with digital marketing, says that both Facebook and Instagram shut down their earnings. Her account was restored the next day after contacting BBC, but she says that “a big company like Meta should give human support system to help users.”

Sam Toll, a 21 -year -old youth from England, said that his Instagram profile was closed and the appeal response came in just two minutes, which made him guess that the case was handled by AI.

Increased opposition

So far, more than 25,000 people have signed online petitions in which accountability is being demanded from Meta. Thousands of people are discussing this issue on Reddit and social media and some have even planned collective legal action against Meta.
