Sachin Pilgaonkar’s scene was removed from Sholay, the son of Ramgarh, was shot with Gabbar

Mumbai. Bollywood’s iconic film ‘Sholay’ has completed 50 years. In the film, actor Sachin Pilgaonkar played the role of Rahim Chacha’s son, about which he has narrated a special anecdote. Sachin recently interacted with IANS, in which he told that director Ramesh Sippy had removed his special scene in the film and had given many reasons behind it. Sachin said, “The scene that I was was shot at Gabbar’s base, but Ramesh removed this scene in editing for some reasons.

The first reason was that the film was getting very long, due to which it had to be removed, and second that director Ramesh felt that it would be very strange to show the murder of a 16-17 year old boy. Then in the final scene, a black ant is walking in the hand of Gabbar, which Gabbar says, “Ramgarh’s son has come,” and then he kills that ant. After this, the body of my character is shown in the village, which shows that my character has been killed.
