Mumbai. Saif Ali Khan Health Update: Saif Ali Khan was attacked by a person who had allegedly come to steal from his house. The incident happened around 2:30 am on Thursday in Saif’s 12th floor apartment in Satguru Sharan Building, Bandra. The attacker attacked with a sharp weapon in which Saif suffered 6 injuries. These include 2 deep injuries, 2 medium time and 2 minor injuries. The neurosurgeon immediately operated on a serious injury near the spine. This operation lasted for about 5 hours.

His operation was done at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. According to Lilavati’s doctor, if the part of the two and a half inch knife that was removed from Saif Ali Khan’s back had gone inside even 1 millimeter more, then Saif’s life could have been in danger. The knife part was just 1 mm away from the spine bones.

According to the doctor, if the knife had gone deeper, the saliva fluid could have leaked and become life threatening, or it would have had a major impact on Saif’s body. Earlier, Dr. Neeraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, said that Saif Ali Khan was admitted to the hospital at 3:30 am. He had suffered 6 injuries from sharp weapons, out of which two were deep injuries.

7 teams formed to catch the accused

Later, Saif Ali Khan’s team issued a statement confirming the attack and informed that he is undergoing surgery in the hospital. Meanwhile, Mumbai Police is working rapidly to trace the accused. The police have formed several teams to nab the accused. During a press conference, police officials revealed that the suspect had entered Saif’s house by using the stairs. Mumbai Crime Branch has also deployed 7 special teams to solve the case. Officials have confirmed that a case has been registered at Bandra Police Station and investigation is underway.
